seeing double

You are not seeing double. I quilted the outside of one bag then made the lining, which didn't fit. So I made a bag to fit the lining and another lining to fit the first bag!!!!

Club Quilt swap

Club Quilt Narromine are having a paper bag swap. The quilt is made like a log cabin. Every participant makes a centre, passes the bag to someone else who adds the first strip. This contiues for 8 swaps then you get your bag back with a quilt top in it. This is my centre piece.

Famous last words.

I found this pattern as a picture in a book and thought I can make that. It took a lot of thought about putting it together as only one of the blocks was visible, but I think it turned out well. When I started patchwork my famous last words were I don't like scrappy quilts and I will never make one.I now love scrappy as long as there is a pattern within the scraps.

Another Wisp top completed

I have added the borders to this quilt today. The fabric is tamarack Grove.

Yellow Bag

So many bags.I think I am addicted to bag making I can't stop. I need bag makers anonymous!!!

Another bag

Another happy bag.Today,Sunday 17th we had our regular meeting of Club Quilt.I had a great day and continued to work on Leannes House BOM which has been in the making for a couple of years. I must have it finished by Girls day out at the beginning of May.I am up to block 7 but have to do some finishing to a few of the previous blocks. Photos to follow soon.

Happy bag.

I call this a happy bag because of the fabric.I've reached my traget so I don't have to count anymore.

Wedding present

This is a quilt I made for a wedding present. We were invited to a 40th birthday party and it turned out to be a wedding as well.I had made the blocks at a retreat we had at Caroles. When I came to put them all together I did not have the pattern and I have sewn them incorrectly! It turned out OK but I will have to make it again using the other pattern.

Bag number 46

You may notice that this is just a simple bag. I have decided that I will make these for the last few bags I need to make. All you bloggers out there catching up with with WISP have made me want to do the same, so hopefully I will be able to post pictures of finished products.
