Nundle Quilt

This is the quilt I made at Cottage on The Hill last weekend. I came home and finished the quilt. Kerry did it as a mystery, just giving us instructions as we went. I am very happy with the result. Thanks Kerry.

A close up of the border.

Gift for Gary who turned 40

I made this quilt top some time ago and needed a birthday gift for a friend Gary who is 40. I quilted it and was really happy with the result.

Gary and his wife loved it.

Scrappy in the making.

The other day when I was looking through my magazines, I came across this scrappy quilt.(Australian Country Threads Vol 7 No 1)I had a sudden urge that I had to make it.Today was one of the coldest days we have had, so I put the Olympics on The TV and got out some scraps. I spent most of the day cutting.

Here are some of my light fabrics

Here are some of my dark fabrics. We have a Club Quilt day on Sunday so I shall start sewing.

Great excitment there are only seven sleeps until we head off to Nundle and our annualCottage on the Hill retreat. Can't wait. Kerry has offered to organise a Mystery Quilt so I am looking forward to this.
