Shaggy Quilt

I sewed the blocks for this quilt at Ridgecrest. When golf was cancelled on Saturday due to rain, I finished it off. It has a shaggy side and a smooth side. The fabric is at waters edge.

Crochet

Whilst we were on our retreat Cath and Karrie asked if I could teach them to crochet. I was a bit rusty so came home and practiced and made this doily. I have promised them lessons when they can fit it ib.

Room with a view

This is what we over looked whilst we sewed. The photo doesn't do it justice.

I'm back

First apologises for having a slack attack. Hopefully it won't return. My grand children attend Oyster Bay Public school and I donate quilts to raffle at their annual Art and Craft Festival. This year they are celebrating 40 years and I was asked to make a banner. This is what I came up with.
Club quilt have had a swap going with a patchwork group in WA at Dongara. We sent each other fabric and embelishments, used these to make something and sent back the finished items. Loris sent me lots of ribbons and beads, I made her this bag (above).

This is a sewing caddy I have made for my swap partner out of the green fabric that she sent me.
